bird identification software

Hmmm, what if the array of human hybrids (we need a good name for them) was so vast it required a software program to discern the exact breed. Each breed would have its own name, and probably some unique physical/psychological idiosyncracy as a result of genetic "interference patterns"--the inevitable unpredictability of inserting foreign genes into a species. Human-elephant hybrids, for instance, might have incredible memories and a tendancy to get swollen feet.

that's a great idea. we should start jotting down potential hybrids (human-elephant, human-owl) and their traits, health problems, purpose of cross (societal role, personal, pageant) and creating names for them in a chart. i love creating hybrid words, i'll play around with that.

i was thinking that there could also be themed pageants - for example, in a mythologically themed pageant, characters would aspire to become medusas (live snake hair) or harpies (half bird), nike, etc.

an identity like nike could actually be a commercial creation as well, to act as an emblem/spokesperson for the company (like ronald mcdonald or tony the tiger).
